Investment ManagementOsiris is able to offer a fully fledged investment management service. When new hedge funds are set up the question arises as to where the manager of the fund is to be located. The BVI has recently enacted the Securities and Investment Business Act (SIBA) which regulates the formation and running of investment management companies which typically provide management services to BVI hedge funds.Osiris are able to set up and obtaining licencing of such managers and provide suitable high level staff to administer the manager and or to sit on its board or its related hedge fund. The focus world wide is on ensuring that actual management is conducted in the relevant jurisdiction and that board members are sufficiently qualified and experienced to fulfil that role. Osiris maintains relationships with suitably qualified people both in the BVI and elsewhere to meet these requirements, and to provide the ongoing administration to demonstrate substance and management.
